The U.S. and Israel launched a major attack on Iran on Saturday, and President Donald Trump urged the Iranian public to “seize control of your destiny” by rising up against the Islamic leadership that has ruled the nation since 1979.

Exactly. The U.S. has given the Iranian people a gift. It’s up to them to do something useful with it. Ditto for Israel. It was in our interest to bomb the regime and kill its figurehead, something we should have done back on 9/12/01, if not sooner. The Iranian government was the # 1 sponsor of world terrorism for nearly 50 years. If you are stupid enough to think it was not in America’s interest to eradicate the # 1 sponsor of world terrorism, I cannot help you and do not wish to help you. If you’re foolish enough to think we can make the Iranians want freedom if they don’t desire it — you’re just as mistaken. It’s now up to them.

President Trump got it exactly right.

Leftists are out of their minds with grief and rage over America’s execution of Iran’s ayatollah. Remember when leftists were social liberals? Which meant they believed in separation of church and state? And no discrimination against gay people — which includes not throwing them off buildings, as the Iranian regime did to gay people? Over the years, we have come to learn the truth about leftists: They are NOT socially liberal. They are not liberal in any sense. They are riddled with hatred. They are control freaks. They loathe America. They loathe economic freedom. They loathe Christians. They loathe the rule of law, justice and liberty. They loathe dissenters. All this makes them natural political and spiritual allies with the Iranian regime. Leftist Democrats and members of the cult of Islam are brothers and sisters in psychopathy and totalitarianism.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. It took America 47 years to take care of this problem. President Trump finally did it.
